Exposing Sexual Immorality in the Church
One of the greatest hindrances to a great move of God is hidden sin. When we think about hidden sin, we often think of the sin as our own. This not true. I am talking about when someone comes to you and tells you someone is hurting them or making them feel uncomfortable, and instead of praying for the situation, or talking to the Pastor or Spiritual Leader about it. We either tell one of the members or pretend it never happened or that is normal.
Even though we are living in a world where lust and sexual immorality is a lifestyle. It is not Godís lifestyle. He wants his people to serve and honor him, as the Great Deliverer.. We canít keep on being silent because of the sin we allow to be in the midst of the congregation. God will judge us, and the blood of that poor soul who is reaching out will be on our hands.
God created his leaders to be watchmen our the souls of men. Being a watch men is seeing what the Pastor canít see. And thinking about what is important at all times. Is it keeping the secret, or helping the victim?
This hinders our growth and it affects everyone involved.
What if someone tells you about improper conduct in the church? You might ask what is improper conduct. I would say, lewdness. Making someone feel uncomfortable in a offensive and nasty way. Would you tell the Pastor? And what if this conduct has been going on for many years? We would like to say that we would tell, but the honest truth is- rarely it happens. It is a secret that everyone knows, and no one is willing to talk about. It begins to spread like cancer. And the person is never delivered. Victory for God is never mentioned or attained. Because we donít want to offend anyone.
No one likes to get involved, and the truth is- we created more strongholds than anything when we donít do all we can to help an individual who was crying out for help. We stop the wave of the Holy Spirit because our minds are on the individual and the victim rather than seeking Godís deliverance.
In the last days we seen so much improper conduct among the leaders who we come to trust, than more of Godís people rely on the doctor and his prescription, than on Jesus. Because many claim that the church wouldnít help them. Which is sad to say.
God is looking for a people who is willing to stand for me in the last days, and sometimes it often means standing alone. Facing the backbiting and the hurtful words. Words can hurt, but Jesus can heal. And not only can he heal but he can deliver and set free. He wants to do that for us.
We cannot expect to rest the lost, if we cannot talk to those who are in sin. How can we even hope for strong deliverance. It would take just one demon to have many running in their tracks. This is not the way of a victorious church.
It says something more powerful than this. Many leaders are off the watch, and not crying out for deliverance as they ought to.. If so, the chains of lust and sexual morality would not be so dormant in our churches. Our females would not go into unholy places to look for men and find themselves in abusive relationships.
Our men will not try and seduce our lady in the midst while our leaders pretend it is not happening.
We must return to the altar of God, and remember that we are in a war and we must fight against every stronghold on the daily basis. Not only for us but our families. If we are going to reap a harvest, we cannot tolerate sin in any way! Even if it means exposing the leaders, we have to concentrate on the victim.

True my friend, true.Shall we continue to sin and expect Grace to abound? GOD FORBID! Let us not be weary to continue in prayer for the body of Christ right across the Globe for a purging and cleansing.
I agree! The more we try and cover up sin with the idea of not making waves, the more we deny supernatural change brought about by the power of our Lord. May God bless. Sincerely, Dan Blankenship
