Smoke rising from the charred rubble
From the strongholds that have tumbled
Torn asunder in this mighty war
War in which victory is the Lord’s
The enemy has battled and built towers
But they could not withstand God’s power
When His people gather in His name
The world will never be the same
Towers crumble and walls will fall
The glory goes to God through it all
Kingdom authority is given to each
With Spirit filled hands we reach
In His presence and for His glory
This scene is from the victory story
The battlefield is not pretty or neat
It is scarred from the enemy’s defeat
Battles have been waged and won
Victory in the Holy Name of God’s Son
His children tapped into the unseen power
And brought God’s glory in this very hour
No more does the enemy hold sway
No longer will we listen to what he says
Freedom has come to our hearts
Wisdom that only Our Father imparts
So stand victorious upon the rubble
No more tolerate the enemy’s trouble
Stand up in cheerful celebration
For the citizens of God’s Holy Nation
Brothers and Sisters,
This is the result of the presence of God. We had a fellowship in our home last night and when Christian gathers it is a lot of potential for God to arrive. As all know there is always needs and prayer requests in the Body. That is part of our assignment here on earth is to lift each other up in prayer.
As we were gathered in prayer, God arrived in a mighty way. More healings and deliverances were witnessed by His children. Aches and pains were healed. But more importantly enemy strongholds were torn down.
The Lord revealed the image of smoking, smoldering rubble of the strongholds that were thrown down in His presence. This poem is my description of that image. When we put the battle into God’s hands we are assured victory.
Keep living from victory to victory and keep serving the Lord.
In Christ,
Christian

The power of honest, heartfelt prayer trusting in the God Who hears and is willing to move when prayer is lifted is beyond description. Praise Him as we pray without ceasing to Him! I love it when I read articles/poems that tell me God is speaking the same to those who are His ... Nightwatch.
Blessings always, Jody
