Freed from the bondage of sin, God never desires to enslave us, rather since He is our Father, He has adopted us as His own to live and glorify His holy name forever and ever.
"For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father.""
Romans 8:15 (New King James Version)
'Abba, Father' is a call eagerly awaited by the Father and the strength of the child.
God does not desire to keep us in bondage and in fear, rather He wants to give us true freedom and perfect peace.
I am now a child of God
Gone are the days when I lived in fear.
Guilt and threat and in sinful shame,
Now since I've been adopted by the love of God,
I truly have a blessed new name.
I am now a child of God,
saved through His mighty grace,
I have returned from the world to sin,
To my Father's loving embrace.
And now I call Him 'Abba, Father'
and praise Him all my days,
for I am now a child of God,
saved through His mighty grace.
