Putting in mind 1Thessalonians 5:18, it’s with thanksgiving to God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord that I announce the calling home to glory of the Senior Pastor of my home Church, Bishop Bitrus Kato, the president and founder of Revival Fire Ministries Int’l aka Christian Love Cathedral, Minna, Niger State, Nigeria.
He passed on to glory on Saturday, the 23rd of August 2008.
During his lifetime, Bishop Bitrus Kato dedicated his life to the Service of God and humanity --- reaching out to the lost with the Gospel, and blessing the less privileged and the outcasts in the society – and that with an unparalleled humility and sacrifice!
The LORD has also used him GREATLY in imparting and impacting COUNTLESS lives and ministries both within and outside Nigeria.
Bishop Kato has also raised and groomed many sons and daughters – of which I am one.
Right from my infant days as a Believer I have had the rare privilege of being groomed and taught by this phenomenal man of God – and I owe under God, my growth, maturity and deep insights in the things of God to Bishop Kato.
Bishop Kato has ran the Race…He has fought a good Fight…He has made his mark and He has finally been ‘flown’ to the Father’s bosom via the Chariots of Heaven’.
Indubitably, Bishop Kato slept in the Lord having attained the enviable rank of a GENERAL in God’s Army…
He Came…He Saw And He Conquered Gloriously…His Righteous Crown Awaits Him In Heaven.
No doubt, Bishop Bitrus Kato is “asleep but yet still speaking” (Hebrews 11:4c).
---He has played his part… The Baton Has Been Passed On To Us… ---
