Dear Lord and Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace, mercy and peace. Thank You for pouring Your overflowing love for me unconditionally.
Father, a new month is here, a new day, a new beginning. Remind me Lord that everyday is a new opportunity to start anew. Here I am Lord, just as I am. Make me the person You want me to be. Fulfill Your purpose for me. I willingly submit to Your will.
I repent of all my sins. Help me to change my mind and attitude from my former way of outlook and life. Help me to stop living a sinful life and refrain from doing things that are not pleasing to Your sight. Always guide me to Your heart.
Holy Spirit, please guide me to the truth. Take away any distracting and impure thoughts from my mind, any impurities from my heart, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your blood that washes away my sins. Help me to live according to Your will from this day forward. Amen.

A beautiful prayer. 8 is the symbol of new beginnings and I believe 8/8/08 will be a breakthrough day for us to possess all of His promises.
