Psalm 71:7-8 I am as a wonder and surprise too many, but You are my strong refuge. My mouth shall be filled with Your praise and with Your honor all the day. (Quick Amplified Bible)
Colossians 4:5-6 Behave yourselves wisely [living prudently and with discretion] in your relations with those of the outside world (the non-Christians), making the very most of the time and seizing (buying up) the opportunity. Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you ought to answer anyone [who puts a question to you]. (Quick Amplified Bible)
Proverbs 16:7 When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. (Quick Amplified Bible)
When a man or woman who is outside the Lord Jesus Christ observes your daily walk, what do they find? Make no mistake about it they are watching and looking for the slightest bits of inconsistencies in what you say and how you live. The American churches are filled with hypocrisy, and this is seen by the secular world as a testimony to them of the lack of power in the gospel or the Bible.
Many see the Bible as just a book full of great stories (good for movies, like the 'The Ten Commandments') but that it is of no more importance to them in their daily lives and is as dull and boring as a Shakespeare novel. They see many churches as groups of people who have joined a club and they pay membership dues each month. Well many of these people outside Christ are in organizations themselves like the National Rifle Association (NRA), The Garden Club of America, and Yacht Clubs of America just to give a few examples.
Many people I feel are going to die and go to hell because of the immoral lifestyle of someone professing to be a Christian. Mind you that the life of a professing Christian or the lack there of will be no excuse when a person stands before Christ at the great white throne judgment unsaved. God the Holy Spirit speaking through the Apostle Paul said that the time has come for judgment to begin at the House of God.
Why will not leaders of churches do what they are called to do if they are real followers of Christ. There should not be this huge division in the belief and doctrines of all the various denominations. Biblical truth trumps all and should be universal in every Evangelical Church in America.
Why is there a debate of whether a Homosexual can be a Priest, Bishop, or Pastor? The Apostle Paul again tells us clearly that if a person is living in any type of gross sexual immorality (no matter what it is) that if this person were not willing to confess before God and man that he or she has sinned and seek the forgiveness and cleansing from Christ, they were to be excommunicated from the church (the body of believers). If the person is unwilling to repent and ask Christ to forgive and cleanse from any sexually immoral lifestyle, then that person proves that they have never met Christ.
1 John 3:6 No one who abides in Him [who lives and remains in communion with and in obedience to Him--deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] commits (practices) sin. No one who [habitually] sins has either seen or known Him [recognized, perceived, or understood Him, or has had an experiential acquaintance with Him]. (Quick Amplified Bible)
Is this in the Word of God or not? Of Course its there. This so called new morality that the visible church has adopted from poor, bias, and heretical study and teaching of the Word of God is in my opinion making God furious.
Proverbs 28:9 He who turns away his ear from hearing the law [of God and man], even his prayer is an abomination, hateful and revolting [to God]. (Quick Amplified Bible)
Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination. (Quick Amplified Bible)
Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a male as if he were a woman, both men have committed an offense (something perverse, unnatural, abhorrent, and detestable); they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Quick Amplified Bible)
Proverbs 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination, hateful and exceedingly offensive to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is His delight! (Quick Amplified Bible)
