You Can Do It
“For I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power” (Philippians 4:13) The Living Bible
The obstacles in front of us seem just that – impossible to hurdle over. The above scripture can only be acted upon when we truly believe that Christ is nearby to help us.
If we have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we’ve been spun from the same spiritual thread as Him. Jesus went to be with His Father so that He could be an advocate for His children. That means satan is still lying to heaven about us and Jesus is setting him straight, every time!
With that knowledge, the tasks that God asks us to do are entirely possible. If we approach them from what we can do in our strength, we will fail every time. Stepping up to the faith plate (you know like the baseball home plate) will put us over the top and sail us into victory.
If your obstacles look impossible, switch your gaze into the face of Jesus. That will enable you to come up with a God plan to accomplish on earth what He wants you to do.
Help us believe that you are always near and ready to help us overcome the many obstacles we face. Help our faith stretch to meet yours so that we are blessed to be a blessing. Amen.
