In this drama we call ‘being’ there are two authors. There is us and there is the Author of life. When we hand the pen over to God He does not pick up where we leave off. He does not close one chapter then open another. He rewrites the entire story. This is something He must do as the story we write has a very tragic ending. The main character dies leaving no chance for a sequel. The story God writes has no ending at all, it moves like poetry from glory to glory. As an author I literally wrote one hell of a plot for myself. But now the narrative has changed. All the mistakes have been erased. The conflict has been resolved. The drama has ended and a new romance has begun. New characters have been introduced while old ones have been completely written out for good. This is needful, otherwise it’s just the same old story.
