March around the stronghold
Just as God’s Word has told
Through faith march around the wall
Witness as God makes them fall
As Joshua marched around Jericho
For you too it will be also
These strongholds the enemy build
Will fall and you will be healed
The battle is not yours alone
Obey God and you will be shown
That faith in God is victory
Just as in the Old Testament history
So march in faith around the walls
Hear and heed when God calls
They will fall rest assured
For this victory is the Lord’s
Brothers and Sisters,
As I was in prayer at church, I found myself marching around the edge of the sanctuary. Seven times the Lord led me around the entire sanctuary while the image a Jericho ran through my mind. As I was marching the Lord revealed that strongholds were falling throughout the church and inside of me. What a wonderful insight the Lord revealed to me.
We are warriors for Christ! You may be a front line prayer warrior or you may be in “Logistics” offering up needs and prayers for those engaged in the battle. Regardless of where you are called to be you are in the Army of God.
Too often I feel I need to climb into the trenches and fight hand to hand with the enemy. For those of you who have battled in this manner you know that it is not usually successful because we tend to rely upon ourselves and our abilities.
God revealed to me that I must remember Jericho. By obedience the walls were thrown down and victory was assured through the Lord.
The enemy is constantly building strongholds and we must constantly battle against these strongholds. However, if we trust in God and march around those strongholds they will be thrown down.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

When our church was destroyed by arson, we marched around the foundation of the new church. It was a great testimony that we were determined to fight the enemy. I pray that we continue to fight the good fight!
March forward, Christian! And I don't mean just you, Christian. I mean all of us who are Christians. Good poem and good lesson at the end. The walls of Jericho fell, not by the army of 300. It fell because of the faith of one man and the obedience of the 300. It fell because God knocked it down...Thanks, Christian...Helen
