Lord, your sense of humor makes me laugh;
you remind me not to take myself so seriously.
The Lord is King! Let the earth laugh.
One minute I am laughing
the next minute I am kneeling before you
in humble adoration
as you remind me that you are in control.
The Lord is King! Let the earth bow in adoration.
In your presence I don't know
if I should dance or tremble;
your awesome power and majesty
are both fearful and beautiful.
The Lord is King! Let the earth tremble.
You are all-powerful and omniscient,
yet, you reach out with exquisite gentleness;
you absorb my pain, wipe away my tears.
The Lord is King! Let the earth be silent.
Lord, you are the Creator,
the Provider and Giver of life,
Holy and Eternal.
The Lord is King! Let the earth give thanks.
Lord, you are laughter and tears,
dancing and stillness,
power and gentleness;
I find delight and comfort in your presence.
The Lord is King! Let the earth rejoice.
