Your Spirit is Life to my soul – the very air that I breathe and the water that I drink. I linger in Your Presence, basking there just to hear Your voice, feel Your Presence, just to tell You how much I love You, Lord. I am so thirsty for more of You, not just a visitation from You, but for Your habitation. I want to abide in You and not in the flesh or turmoil of the world. As the fullness of You rises up within me, I am overwhelmed by your love, by your compassion, by your peace and by your faithfulness. (Col 2:19) How deep is Your Love, Daddy God, so deep that I can’t drink deeply enough. The more I press in to be near You, Abba, the more the pressures of this world close in. The enemy’s attacks intensify as I run to You. Still, I will press in and give You every concern. You are the Keeper of My Soul, the Giver of all good things. Only You can satisfy the longings in my heart, Father. I will only be satisfied when I bear Your likeness. (Ps 17:15) Surely, the more time I spend with You, the more I come to know You, but I want to be more like You. There must be more of You and less of me. I know, I believe that You WILL satisfy the longings of my heart with Your Presence, Lord.

Oh Mitzi, I have heard every word that you speak, and my spirit so agrees with this prayer. It reminds me of what David prayed in Ps.42:1-As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. (2) My soul thirsts for God, for the LIVING GOD. Dear Mitzi... You take us to a beautiful place, where we can feel Our Daddy's Presence. You make us yearn for His LOVE - we long to feel HIS arms surround us, filling us with HIS PEACE. Do you ever hear an echo when you are talking to Jesus? This piece emphasizes many of the very things I say to Jesus. Maybe as sisters in Him,and other of His children as well, we pray and talk to Him as a whole and as one voice !!!!!
