I have been a part of Faith Writers since last November. It has filled my life with a wonderful community of fellow Christian writers from all over the world who encourage and challenge me to write better. The message board is a place to laugh, cry, and cheer together. It’s place where others understand my fears and dreams as a writer.
The Weekly Challenge has definitely improved my writing. It stretches me past my comfort zone, pushing me to think more creatively and teaching me to make every word count. When I’ve judged, I have seen entry after entry of top quality writing, forcing me to see what makes one slightly better or more “reader friendly” than another.
I enjoy the immediate communication with the Private Message system, tying us together to critique and comment on each others articles. I am thankful for the Faith Writers’ easy-to-use portfolio page as a way to showcase my writing, and I hope to someday create my own website.
The Faith Writers Magazine and Faith Readers are filled samples of the high quality writing of our group and let us see some of our work in print. I have also had some of my “reprint articles” viewed and used in various publications. As a teacher/mother, I am pleased to see the Faith Writers for Kids. What a wonderful way to encourage a young person in their creative endeavors!
I’m still discovering more and more aspects of Faith Writers. I could spend all day exploring the different forums and articles pages. Thank you to all those that keep it running smoothly.

Reaching out to impact the world with the talents given us,and to bring glory to God is a goal worth striving to attain. There are many who are lost and dying, however there are also many Christians who lie wounded in this war to win souls. They are in need of intensive care through words given by Jesus to love, encourage and reprove. Let us take up our weapons which are not carnal, and defeat the enemy.

Way to go, Yvonne! What a great commendation to FaithWriters. I second it! Thanks for sharing. I have belonged to FW for a lot longer than you have, but have not explored it all yet. It is a GREAT place for writers and for readers. Thanks for sharing...Helen
