Sobbing for Repentance

Agonizing cries cough up from
a man, sobbing for the lost through
drug addiction and lost vision

a domain of pain. His shudders shake
the foundation of my soul, stretch
tears in my sorrow, render

helpless the boundaries of my own
inadequacies, and I forgive him.
