Today is a day for rejoicing
Today is a day for praise
Today is a day for thanking
The Father above for free days

Free days to enjoy the sunshine
Free days to enjoy the WORD
Free days to worship in freedom
while others languish unheard

Free days that are taken for granted
Free days that have cost so much blood
Free days that have cost many lives
But lives that were given in love.

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

Yes we do take much for granted.... and not just in America.( I am not American.) A fitting poem for today, and nicely written. God Bless.

I think there has to be something greater inside a person to lay down your life for so many unknown, What bravery, what honor ! From this home it is appreciated. I loved the way you presented this poem!
