In a room with papers stacked so high,
I thought they must reach the sky,
what was on them? I had to know.
I picked up a paper from the floor,
on it written: 'who could ask for more?'
and my heart began to glow.
I picked up another, just to see,
they all seemed to be written by me
words of love from my heart did flow.
They were all words of love so true,
all, in their own way, said "I LOVE YOU"
I am so glad God made it so!
Every day I begin with thanks and praise
that I can express my love throughout the day,
from the topmost paper to the one so low!
Every day a new paper I write,
words of love, glowing so bright,
treasures written, row upon row!
God gave me joy when He gave me this life,
and I overflow with happiness to be your wife,
I LOVE YOU so - and I hope it shows!
I start each day with words so new,
and end them with the same, still so true,
Oh, my Lucian, how I LOVE YOU!!!
