You understand me
Even times when I don't understand myself
You know what I'm thinking
Even when we're across a crowded room
You care for my needs
Even when my heart is cold and distant
You stand by my side
Even when you don't agree one hundred percent
You listen to me
Even when it takes time to express how I feel
You've changed to be better
Even while you slowly wait for me to heal
You patiently wait
Even when I won't listen to your words
You love me always
Even through times we face rocky roads
You gave your all to me
Even when I thought I was ready to leave
We share our lives with God
Just as He has planned us to be
To my sweetest husband: Through thick and thin, we've made it this far. We both know that without God's intervening guidance it would not have been possible. We have a long road ahead of us, but our love for each other, our family, and most importantly for our Lord, will carry us through.
Dear God, thank you for uniting me with the one person that helped me find salvation through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Please continue to bless this marriage and help us grow in our love for each other. Without your presence in our lives, I'm not sure where we would be. Lord, please continue to heal me. I give my life to you. In your name I pray, Amen.
