Weathering The Storms
In the gospel of Mark we read the story of Jesus and His disciples getting into a boat and Jesus tells them;” Let us go to the other side.” But as they traveled there cam a great storm of wind and the boat began to sink. The disciples panicked and awaked Jesus out of His sleep. Now I tell you that they were destine to get to the other side just because Jesus was in the boat. They were destine to succeed just because there were in the boat with Jesus. Let me tell you something. I am destine to succeed not because I am in the boat with Jesus, I am destine to succeed because of the fact that I am in Jesus. They were in a boat with Jesus but I am in Jesus, and because I am in Jesus I cannot fail. If I fail then He fail because I am in Him. Not only am I in Him but Jesus tells me in the book of John ”At that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, And I in you I am in Jesus and Jesus is in me, how can I fail.
Listen to Jesus. I am the vine, you are the branches; he that abides, remain in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit. I am fruitful despite the storms in my life because I abide in Him. These things have I spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world there is tribulation, but that does not upset my peace. I have peace regardless of the storm. If you abide, remain in Me and My words abide in you, you can ask what you will, and it shall be given you. Because I am in Christ I can ask God the Father according to His word that abides in me, and it shall be granted me. My prayers are answered because I abide in Christ. No storm hinders my prayers, I am in Christ. Let the storm come, I am in Christ.
I am fruitful, all my needs are met because my prayers are answered, I have peace, now I have saved the best for last. Therefore if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, all things are made new. Being in Christ has made me a new creation, I have a brand new heart, not a heart of stone but the heart of God. I have a new mind set, I am off in the right direction. The old is past the new is before me. If that was not enough; God has made Jesus to be sin for me, Jesus knew no sin, He did it that I might be made the righteousness of God in Christ. I am the righteousness of God as long as I am in Christ. Now I know that you cannot wait to ask me how am I in Christ when you see me in a fleshly body? I am in Christ because the bible says that I am in Christ, I am in Christ by faith. I have been in Christ for over twenty five years and no storm has ever made me doubt my salvation. I don’t doubt my salvation, I don’t doubt that I an in Christ. The disciples weathered their storms being in the boat with Christ, I weather my storms In Christ.
