I have been so impacted today by a little 5 year old girl named Ye Eun, who has been blind since birth,
She was adopted because the parents that adopted her could not have babies.
This little child started playing piano at 3 years of age, she heard a tune played on the internet and just began to play it.
It is enough that she is a music genius, but she made a profound statement, in a song she sang, that the life of God in her is love.
I have been mediating on this and what a glorious idea. That the life of God which lives in us that we received when we accepted Jesus Christ into our lives is LOVE.
A child of 5 years old could not possibly know how to play the piano so beautifully after hearing one song, except God be in her and is pouring His life in her and through her.
Ye Eun, only heard a song on the computer once, with no sheet music and she played the song perfectly at three years old.
She sang and played a song called "You were Born To Be Loved" and the words said, "you are receiving that love in your life, the love from God began at your birth, and that love is connected when we meet, and you are receiving that love in your life". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntReE2n15bo
What I saw was that God was speaking to her and through her, she so inspired me.
God showed her through her song, and through her music that He is in her and she is loved. What a beautiful gift of love she received from the Father, His love is so precious.
To know that love which is unspeakable and full of glory. That it is so deep and difficult to comprehend.
This was Paul's prayer, that we would be able to comprehend with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Once we know the width and length, the height and depth we will know the love of Christ, which is greater then all knowledge. We shall then receive His fullness, with in us.
How powerful, that God would show His love to Ye Eun and to us, in such a beautiful way through the gift of music and song.
And to comprehend that God's love which is in us at our spiritual birth, is passed on one to another. The more of God we have, the more love we express.
How much love we are expressing to others reveals how much of God we have in us. If flesh is still alive and in control, we can hardly know that love is expressing through us.
1Jn 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God.
1Jn 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
1Jn 4:9 Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him
God sent His only begotten Son into the world that He might manifest His love in us, .
We may not see God but if we love one another God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us.
1Jn 4:16 And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him.
When we are manifesting God's love, we are abiding in Him, and He in us.
This is not some new truth, or even new to me, but because this little girl so touched me with her very life, she inspired me to write about it again.
As Children born of God, we know we are true children of God because his love is manifest in us.
What happens is that when a person is self centered, or living for oneself, they do not express love, they cannot express God's love because it is self that lives and is in control and not God.
It is the same thing as walking in the Spirit, when flesh is in control, a person is not walking in the Spirit, because each fruit of the Spirit is an aspect of love.
That person when they came to Christ did not lay down self at the cross with Christ.
Self or flesh one and the same is still in control, so God cannot be in control nore can He manifest His love through us to others.
As an example when we see someone so full of themselves, everything is revolving around them, the way they look, how they appear to others, and in some way they often will be haughty and rude and look down on others.
It is very obvious that the person didn't die to their flesh, so God cannot live His life through them, and express His love to others. They are not a vessel He uses to love others.
Once we come to Christ we are not meant to live for ourselves but for Him who loved us and died for us.
When I talk about die to self, I am not talking about abuse of self or treating oneself in a abusive way.
It is really profound to come to grips what the Lord is telling us, in 1 John. When Christ came to live in us, so He could manifest Himself in us, we had to die to flesh or self, it is the only way He is free to love others through us.
It is really very simple if we have ears to hear and eyes to see.
If He doesn't dwell in us, we are not born of Him. And if we are not manifesting His love to others He isn't dwelling in us.
The process is simple but it is most difficult because the flesh is truly resistant.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.
Death To self
Rom 6:5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;
Rom 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Rom 6:7 for he that hath died is justified from sin.
Rom 6:10 For the death that he died, he died unto sin once: but the life that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Rom 6:11 Even so reckon ye also yourselves to be dead unto sin, but alive unto God in Christ Jesus.
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. But if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
We must come to the knowledge of God and realize if we are born of God, His life is in us, and love dwells in us, and once we acknowledge this, we are able to go through life in the Spirit, allowing Him to love through us into others.
We are no longer so self focused, we are now God focused, and only interested in passing His love to others. making a difference in others lives.
We are no longer trying to be noticed, or have our name be known, because all we want to do is glorify God in our bodies, so He may be lifted up, and so that He may do His perfect work in and through us.
The little girl Ye Eun, knows that God dwells in her, and that His love is coming forth from her. He gave her this insight at 5 years old, she is blind but those who are blind, see with greater spiritual eyes, and have contact with God in a more profound way.
Most of us are to full of self, to be able to "See"
I wanted to close in saying, that through this little Mozart, He is speaking of His love to us, and to her and God will use whoever and whatever he chooses to manifest His love to us.
In this case He is shinning brightly through this beautiful little 5 year old girl with out physical sight but she has limitless spiritual sight, because she sees through God's eyes.
What a remarkable God, inexpressible, He is so amazing, so magnificent, that He would so love the world that he would send His only Son in to the world to be the propitiation for our sins, just so He could manifest Himself in love through us to others, that he would love through us and we through Him. He is worthy of all our praise and love. All glory to God.
