Stay In The Light

As humans we are guilty of hiding the true nature of ourselves. We let the world see what we want them to see. Even within our most intimate relationships we never reveal what's really in our hearts. It often frightens us when we find out things about our loved ones which we never knew. The thoughts of humans, rule humans, humanity is encapable of tailoring their thoughts towards goodness apart from God. Deep in the inner sanctuary of our minds and hearts lie sin we never address. Only with the gentle guidance and total dependence on the Holy Spirit can we begin to find cleansing. The Lord calls for us to bring all of our sins into the light, so that Jesus can deal with them. 1John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin. Let's not keep secret sins locked in the darkness of our hearts, where the lock of shame keep them buried. The Lord can get into your heart and thoughts and clean them up. Christians, we are what we think, our hearts control our thoughts, our thoughts control our actions and our actions display what's in our heart.
