I look outside at the stars in the sky
at their golden points of light,
their quiet glow is such a wonder,
in the darkness, a lovely sight.
I look in the garden at all the plants,
somehow growing from the soil,
and wonder that God made all this,
so much return on so little toil!
I listen to the songs of the birds,
hangs so sweetly in the air,
and marvel at the daily miracles,
that are around me everywhere!
I look inside and see my heart,
overflowing with love for you
and know that this is the best gift of all,
to share this blissful joy so true.
I look in my mind and see you face,
and feel again your sweet, tender touch,
and wonder that God gave me this gift,
a husband I love SO much!
I hear in my heart, the words that you say,
the sentiment old, yet ever new,
for our hearts speak softly to one another,
saying gently 'oh, how I LOVE YOU!'
Every day is a brand new journey,
what could be better to do?
A journey of joy down a path of happiness,
