Well dressed young man
Handsome you are gentleman
Tie, T-shirt, casual or formal,
What make you normal or abnormal
Together with every gathered dime
Have you spent all your time
In decorating your flesh
Making it before men blush?
In the beauty of holiness
Worship the Lord with godliness
Clothed in white and is steady
Can you say your soul I ready?
If ‘yes’ I am glad
If ‘no’ I will be sad
For, a ‘whitewashed grave’ is loathed
By all, if a soul appears naked
Middle-aged mighty businessman
Are you yet another weary man?
Caught like a rat inside a maze
Battling to be first in the race
Focused in work you may be
Yet futile! Owning not the treasure you see
What profit would you get?
If you the priceless pearl would reject
Everything else will fade away
Almighty alone with you would stay
Work not for food that decays
Work for food that never decay
What about you old man?
You once were young man
Now gray hair is your crown
Do you rejoice over it or frown?
Given by Christ through His holiness
Are you clothed with His righteousness?
Waiting you are for the sun to set
Ready is your body to enter the pit
Seek your Saviour’s love and embrace
Before your soul completes the race
If you are not clothed with His garment
Remember you will enter eternal torment
Rush and escape to God like the thief
He will forgive whatever be your mischief
For with God nothing is impossible
If you believe in being born-again is possible
Come to Christ little children so dear
‘I am small, later on I’ll see’ He must not hear
The kingdom of God is always near
To those who love the Lord and fear
You cannot say, “From me death is far away”
For that sounds unlikely in every way
Guide and set an example by your act
Bring your parents through your impact
In the beauty of holiness
Worship the Lord with godliness
Clothed in white and is steady
Can you say your soul I ready?
