Faithwalk

As I grow
from young
to old
I see a
different
image in
my
reflection
from time
endlessly
turning.
My steadfast
faithwalk
in life
guards
me from
transgressors
that creep out
of their
deep
dark holes
rooted all
over the
earth.
Light shall
rule over
darkness
as it is
written.
I live
knowing
of great
peace
promised
by the
Blessed
One.

Psalm 119:148 My eyes are awake before the watches of the night
that I may meditate upon thy promise.

Much strength in you is demonstrated in this lovely write. I like the format of the poem. And, oh, the hope you offer--quite poignant.
