Jesus Christ is the key to peaceful and loving race relations. Since the beginning of creation the races have clashed. What is the big deal anyway, sure my skin might be different from yours or our hair textures might vary, how does that make me less human than you? Who told us that being different was bad and worth hatred? I know who, the deceiver, satan. He thinks that if he can keep us divided, then he has a better chance to conquer our souls. It is absolutely ludicrous to judge another person strickly based on the color of their skin or the origin of their birth. It wasn't like we all stood in line and requested to be a specific race or to be born in a specific region of the world. The choice of what race we're going to be was Gods' and Gods' alone. We all have one creator, who loves us all. I admit it can be difficult getting to know different cultures and races outside of your own. But to not step out of your comfort zone, is to say that unity cannot be accomplished. Through His loving grace and mercy He has love for us all, we as true Christians should not allow racial issues to hinder us from loving one another. After all, we will all be spending eternity in Heaven together, that reveals that there isn't a racial divide, only satans' wishful thinking. Acts 10:34-35 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that fearth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. It hurts to know that people find it easier not to get to know a person before the judge them. If we were all without sight, looks wouldn't be an issue. With Jesus Christ living in us we are to be blinded by the outer appearance of man and seek the truth that lies in the heart. I'm so glad that the Lord has allowed me to rise above such a small issue as race relations.
