The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” (Romans 8:16)
God wants to give liberally to all of His children – in season and out. God’s nature is to give – never take. There are people who never approach God unless they have an emergency. He’s more of a vending machine to them where they choose the right tab in order to get something back.
Can you imagine how God feels when people only turn to Him in times of trouble? Of course, He will not turn away from us; however, He wants daily communion that will bring renewal and peace to our lives. For some reason, for us, it is harder to praise, worship and adore Him when things are going well. He puts the leap in our steps in our high places so that we can be like hinds (deer) that go from place to place with ease and grace. He is jumping with us over every crevice so that we don’t fall into those dark holes of despair.
There have been times in my life when things were going so well that I would start my day without God – meaning I didn’t set aside time to spend with Him in prayer, praise and worship. As the day went on I would realize I had forgotten something (someone). It’s the same feeling I would have losing a child in Wal-Mart – panic and running to find them. That’s what I do when I realize I have forgotten God. I panic, switch gears and go find Him.
He is always there ready to receive me with open arms. What a God!

Very good article. Thoughts came to me while reading is that the parent was never lost, the child wandered away. God is never lost, we children wander away. I liked your article. GOD BLESS YOU
