This has been a challenging month or so for me.
I apologize for being missing the last few weeks but I have been dealing with some health issues that needed attention. In the last month I have undergone treatment for spinal stenonis, taking a series of 3 steriod treatments. I am hopeful this will ease the trauma in my spine some and relieve some of the pain that lives in my inner house. So far, a sigificant amount of the pain has slowed down, although I feel very weak and tired all the time.
I wonder, any of you who may have had treatment in this area what you experienced and could you share with me what's happening to me (other than getting older). I know of no one around here that has been through this kind of treatment and am curious to make contact with folks who know something about this.
In addition to this I had a pretty good sized tumor removed from the left side of my face about 2 1/2 weeks ago now. It surely felt good to get that thing removed.
Yesterday would have been our 45th wedding anniversary. A sad day, I went down to the cemetary for a short visit and a time of prayer. Strange how you can be both sad and happy in your spirit on the same day.
My son, the pastor, had a wonderful sermon and I invite yout to click on the "Fruithill Baptist Church" website, Crofton, KY and listen to it. www.fruithillbc.org it's online and he has a great blog too.
Blessed be the name of the Lord who watches over us and guides us.
