…And yes, she did lean on Him.
She leaned on Jesus.
She leaned on the Comforter.
A friend with the broadest shoulder.
It wasn’t easy.
She persevered and struggled.
She was determined.
She bombarded heaven with prayers.
Alas, she broke free.
The angels worked on her case.
They fought her battle.
Lo, her burden was casted upon Jesus.
At the foot of the cross,
There her burden lay.
And a proclamation was made on her behalf:
It is finished!
Jubilation and trumpet sounds
Filled heaven and His throne.
A soul has been saved.
A captive set free.
The 24-elders removed their crowns.
And worshipped the Lamb that was slain.
Slain for the world’s iniquity.
And for the snatching away of the ‘prey’.
She broke into tears.
Tears of joy and freedom.
No more slavery.
Behold, a daughter of the King of kings.
She lived by the constitution-the Bible.
She walked side by side with Jehovah.
And her joy flowed like a river.
And she lived happily ever after!
The scripture says, “…when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a
Standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19b.
