King David had many enemies in his lifetime, and he defeated them all, however not by his own strength, but the Lord God fought for him.
"Upon the wicked He will rain coals;
Fire and brimstone and a burning wind
Shall be the portion of their cup.
For the LORD is righteous,
He loves righteousness;
His countenance beholds the upright"
Psalm 11:6-7 (New King James Version)
David in the above Psalm boldly describes the destiny of the righteous and the wicked.
The Lord God is judge over all, He controls everything, there is nothing beyond His power.
The wicked will have their cup of God's wrath, however the destiny of the righteous is what is most blessed.
God's countenance is what beholds the upright in heart.
A believer has every blessing in his life only through God alone, for every action of the believer is directed by the Lord God Himself.
Dear Ones!!! God will change us and when we belong to Him, He will change everything for us, for He loves us.
More than an earthly parent who loves their child and desires to provide the best to them always, God is desirous and able to lead His righteous ones in His glory always.

A :- And a letter came to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus says the LORD God of your father David: Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father, or in the ways of Asa king of Judah, but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and have made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to play the harlot like the harlotry of the house of Ahab, and also have killed your brothers, those of your father's household, who were better than yourself, behold, the LORD will strike your people with a serious affliction—your children, your wives, and all your possessions; 15 and you will become very sick with a disease of your intestines, until your intestines come out by reason of the sickness, day by day.
