As another month draws to a close
there are two things my heart knows;
I love you because Jesus first loved me!
So afraid once was I
that I hid away silently to cry;
Jesus gave me new eyes to see.
I was unsure if it were true,
could I have this life so new;
Jesus said 'yes' - you belong to Me!
The old was gone, I had a new heart,
and along with that, a brand new start;
what could next come to be?
The exact right time Jesus knew,
and into my life he gave me love so true;
with you, I could finally 'be'!
Every day His mercies are new,
our love grows ever more deep and true,
and oh, how much I LOVE YOU!!!
