Where should I go to smell the rain
To feel no pain
To not feel fully drained
Where should I go to see the wind
To feel no sin
To not feel so hemmed in
Where should I go to hear the thunder
To feel no blunder
To not feel torn asunder
Where should I go to smell the flowers
To feel no glowers
To not feel misused power
Where should I go to see the seas
To feel no unease
To not feel cruelly teased
Where should I go to hear the birds
To feel no curse words
To not feel the lines are blurred
Where should I go to smell the meadows
To feel no shadows
To not feel empty and shallow
Where should I go to see the trees
To feel no disease
To not feel so ill at ease
Where should I go to hear the truth
To feel no reproof
To not feel the pain of untruth
Where should I go to learn of things
To feel no strings
To not feel His love will sting
Where should I go to know of this
Who do I ask who will not dismiss
That He can save me from the abyss
