Your word is my delight,
My thoughts both day and night;
In my visions, and in my dreams
On your promises I always lean.
You fill my heart with expectation,
My mouth resounds with joyful praise.
At your name my eyes start twinklin’,
And your hope shines through my greys.
Dried grass turns green, and I pasture,
The waters stilled: taste, oh, so sweet.
Your arms fold round me, loving Father,
As I rise from weary feet.
Carry me…
Oh, yes, carry me.
