Can add lines and change names to match kids
Kids should have eyes blackened
Slings on arm
Crutches…
Give each kid a different line.

Last Friday we were talking
On the playground at our school
We were talkin’ bout our mom’s
And how Mother’s Day the bomb!
Timmy said he loved his mom
And Chloe said the same.
Then somehow a fight broke out
And fists were flying all about.
The boys, they jabbed and poked
The girls, they kicked and screamed
It was all because we couldn’t agree
On whose Mom was best, you see!
“My mom’s the most awesome!”
No mine is –
My mom cooks me supper
Mine helps me with my homework
My mom tucks me in at night
My mom prays with me.
That’s how I got this black eye
And this is why I have a sling
My leg wasn’t broken before this past Friday.
I used to have two shoes! Boy! I sure made them pay! (a pretend bully trying to act tough)
(One quiet little girl do this whole stanza) I didn’t fight like the others
I stood there quietly
Then someone pushed my friend Anna
And I tripped and scraped my knee!
We finally settled the disagreement
When our mom’s were called into our school
I got grounded
And I got spanked
And I didn’t get any supper – NOT cool!
Hunter's mom’s the best, she didn’t yell and scream
No, your mom is the greatest, she lets you play the Wii
Then all of a sudden it happened again
The boys they jabbed and poked
The girls, they kicked and screamed
Then we all decided that God knew best and matched us up perfectly!
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
NIV
“Mom is patient,
Mom is kind.
She does not envy,
she does not boast,
She is not proud.
Mom is not rude,
She is not self-seeking,
She is not easily angered, (and believe me, that’s a miracle!)
Mom keeps no record of wrongs.
She does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
Mom always protects, always trusts,
Mom always hopes,
Mom always perseveres. (Thank goodness for that!)

(A child could end the skit with a short prayer or this would be a good time to have all the mothers stand up to be prayed over by the minister)
