YOUR FAITHFULNESS
Lord thank you, for Your faithfulness
Your love and tender care
For when my heart is heavy Lord
You are present there.
You do not need the rest
That we as humans do
For you are ever watchful
Each day’s the same for you
You never sleep nor slumber
But are constantly alert
To all the pressing problems whereby
Your loved ones could be hurt.
Angels give attendance to
And beckon at Your call
As they came rescuing Peter
As they came nurturing Paul.
Charge over us, You’ve given them
They joyously respond
For errands their dispatch requires
They do it with a song.
What pleasure to be of service in
The presence of You Lord
‘Tis service we look forward too
That’s promised in Your Word.
Such joy we have at present
More joyous in future will be
When we in glorified body
Shall be with Faithful Thee.
There, our praises never ceasing
We’ll sing with all the redeemed
Because of our faith in Jesus Christ
Praise You King of Kings.
