Forgive me for the next run on question I am about to ask you. It is a question I have often asked myself and found my mind racing to the corners of the earth, touching mountaintops, soaring to the moon , only to proceed on an adventurous quest in finding myself a strong spirited soldier for Jesus.
If God would allow your very own soul the freedom to roam about in the middle of the night for one night and grant you the power of the Spirit to make a difference in the lives of the people on Earth , just where would you begin? Where would you go ? What would you do first?
I know what I would do . The wind you would feel would be me and I would travel the earth whispering Jesus in all available ears. Anyone staring down at the sandy beaches would then witness His name appear before them written in the sand.
Rainbows would be my specialty particularly in areas with lots of children.
I would stop the feeling of pain in those suffering and with the power of the spirit touch their hearts with, "Praise The Lord!" When you 're in the mountains viewing the starlit skies , I would rearrange them to say,"This is my commandment , that you love one another as I have loved you."
Next I would turn into a force field surrounding all missionairies everywhere that preach the Good News (expecially where its forbidden) and protect them from experiencing their last breath near a torturous death. Their strength and energy would be fully replenished and rejuvenated to continue that honorable mission of love.
Guardian angels would be made visible to those dying so that the dying could be spiritually comforted before departing their last life's moment.
Cancers would turn into butterflies.Tornadoes would turn into soothing gentle winds. The evildoers would fall into a deep sleep .
All people that physically abuse other people and children would begin to hear harps playing and a song of hope sung to help heal their darkened hearts. They would then pick up a Bible and fervently read .
Those about to take their next drink ,pill, drug wouldn't be able to . They would be granted the opportunity to hear the joyous celebration that surrounds Christ our King in Eternity . Afterwards, they would fall to their knees crying and praying to Jesus to help them. Jesus always answers.
Houses burning would be put out with water pouring straight down from The Heavens for all to see.
Trees of hope would be planted all over the earth . Wishing wells would answer wishes that would only lead to a brand new enlightening journey with God.
All believers in Christ would rise that night with a lit candle all over the earth singing praises to The Heavens.
This would only be the beginning of my soul's moment of freedom.
What would you do?
I leave you now with- a question.

"If God would allow your very own soul the freedom to roam about in the middle of the night for one night and grant you the power of the Spirit to make a difference in the lives of the people on Earth , just where would you begin? Where would you go ? What would you do first?" Julie, I decided to go back and find your first article on Faith Writers. Don't know why, except that it must have been a "God idea". When I read the into, and your question, I felt spell-bound. Tears filled my eyes, and I longed to experience that power of the Spirit. Your question has left an imprint on my heart. (Barbara)
