Will You call someone today through me,
Through this, Your God-given poetry,
That's given for all the world to see
Your honor, glory, grace, mercy, beauty?
Will You call someone today through tears
For the sinful days and nights and years?
Will You give someone today the blessed ears
To stop unbelief and take away fears?
Will You call someone today to Your Son,
Through Whom only such things can be done?
Will someone at the setting of the sun,
Have in their heart, Your's, forever won?
Will You call someone today to the Cross,
Where souls have been won who once were lost,
Where they can see that Jesus paid the cost,
For all their mistakes, for all their lust?
Will You call someone today to Your love,
The Holy Spirit, soft as a dove,
Who lives within, not as You above,
But surrounds one's soul as a Holy glove?
Will You call someone today to Your grace,
To let them know they don't have to save face,
But Jesus Christ on the Cross made safe,
Our passage to Heaven, our Home, our Place?
Will You call someone today to Your heart,
Never again from You to depart,
But let them know that they've made a start
On the road to peace with Your sacred mark?
Will You call someone today, Lord, please?
I say my prayers, I make my fervent pleas,
For another soul won to Your armies,
That would my heart gratefully appease.
Will You call me today, God, to call all?
Will You help me to put a Holy call?
Will You help me bring within Your wall
More saints for You to save from the fall?
