1) the Stand by Generator :

There maybe are times in life where we feel like all our strength and passion has drained and what left of us doesn’t have what it takes to make it on our own.
Well in times like this we need to remember our Stand by. The bible calls the holy Spirit our Stand by, which means when we can make it on our own he steps in to aid us. Think about a wrestling tag – team match were when member of the team is tired he manages to crawl to where his partner is and touch him, for him to enter the ring and take his turn.
The holy spirit is our partner. Isn’t that Great. When all our strength is gone all we need to do is crawl towards him on our knees by praying, and he would be there to help us.
He could help by either making things to some how turn out for our good even when we taught all hope was lost or he could re – vitalize or energize us ( renew our strength ) [ Romans 8: 11 ] so that we would have what it takes to continue.

2) Time Management :

“So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
- Psalm 90: 12

One major thing that seems to be the flaw of all Gamers is their inability to manage their time properly; Gamers spend too much time on their consoles.
As a Gamer it’s important that you map out your day by having a To-Do List for each day. You could designate a given amount of time for each task. Maybe 2 hrs for reading a new educational business book, 4 hrs for work and so on.
If you are having problems with keeping to the list, you could put up durations for important or profitable tasks like studying your bible or educational books; mostly things that you know are beneficial but you don’t really classify them as fun things to do just like shores. Then leave the remaining time left for your leisure; example playing games.
If you do this you would discover that you are still playing a lot of games but you would not be ignoring your responsibilities.
If you noticed I suggested you designated tasks a duration but not a particular clock time. That means you can put the required time for reading or shores are at 7 pm or 6 am; basically when ever you want. The reason for this is because I have found out that your day doesn’t always turn out the way you want it to.

3) Aim

What is the first thing you think of before reading a book ? What is the first thing you think of before you go shopping ? What is the first thing you think of before you make a video game ?
All these questions have one or two things in common.
Before you go shopping you have to have predetermined what you want to buy and why or else you would buy something you don’t need or forget to buy what you really need.
Also before picking up a book to read. You must ask yourself what type of book you want to read at that time, would it be best to read a spy – type adventure or a sci-fi type adventure. It all depends on your entertainment needs at the moment.
In the same way, before you make a game you must ask yourself. What is the purpose of this game. Why am I making it. Is it for advertising a product, expressing ideologies or is it just for entertainment.
Now a lot of people would classify games they make as just entertainment; but entertainment itself is a general term that could mean lots of things. You shouldn’t just classify the games you make as “ just entertainment ”. They should have an aim, and as a Christian game developer there is no greater aim than spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
It doesn’t have to be a game about Jesus or a game with bible verses posted all across the screen, but it should have the message of the Gospel of Jesus. How you make the game is up to you and your creative ability.

4) When it’s all good

Praising, thanking, and worship God is such a good thing. Sadly it’s something most of us do ONLY when everything is all good. When we’ve paid all our bills, gotten a raise, won an award; that’s the only time some folks ever praise God.
When the going gets tough it’s one of the best times to spend time with God in prayer and worship. Don’t only pray when things get rough, also praise. Remember that God is a King and a King must get his praise. As a matter of fact it’s easier to get something from a King after praising him.

5) Waiter

“My Son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to their flesh.”

Proverbs 4: 20 -22

One of my favourite chapters in the bible is the 4 chapter of the book of
proverbs. Verses 20 to 22 explain a deep secret of success in every area
of life.
It says “my son, give attention ( attend ) to my words ..” When I read that
first part I was like “Attend”. My Pastor explained it as we should come to
God’s word the way a Waiter at a restaurant comes to a customer to attend
to his need which would be known by what comes out of the customer’s
mouth. So waiter is actually waiting for the a word and he has made up
his mind to act on that word when it comes.
We should have that same attitude towards God’s word. We should wait
for it and when it comes, we should act on it ( do what it says ).

6) The Balance

“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under the heaven”

Ecclesiastes 3: 1

As a Christian in the Video Game industry, one major problem is having to balance spending time with your work and spending time with God.
In life today ( almost ) everybody looks busy. We are rushing from one place to the other. It’s funny that if you could freeze the world and read everybody’s mind one after another you would find out that the primary reason they are so busy is because of money.
Anyway, no matter how busy we are should make out time to serve God. Besides we are the ones who make ourselves busy, we have total control of how busy we want our day to be no matter what you think. You may say well if you had the boss I have you would be busy too. Well, you choose to have that boss that you “have”. You could always get another job, pull off a gag that would make your boss change forever or simply become independent and be your own boss.

7) The only one on the team

Have you ever been on a team with this one dude that does all the work. It’s like he’s the self appointed leader and voice of the team. He is normally the dude who everyone else on the team wishes he falls ill or something. As a matter of fact you maybe that guy. If you are change.
When you are involved in any team project; making a video game with a team or participating in a video game tournament with a team; make sure you respect others. Respect their views, their ideas, their personality.
They may just have the extra push that the team needs to make it. So give everyone on the team an equal chance.

8) a Tenth

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now this,” Says the lord of hosts , “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you a blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.”

Malachi 3: 10

As a Christian it’s very important that you pay your tithe; which is 10% of your income. Every true Christian should know that and value it dearly.
A lot of non – Christians has made tithes out to be a money making concept created by Pastors and Ministers. Well, it’s in the bible no Pastor made it up. Besides if Christians decide to give a tenth of their income to the Church it is none of the world’s business. The world should mind their own business. It’s not like we are forcing non – Christians to give a tenth of their income to the Church.
When you enter certain groups or clubs ( golf club, women’s club, local clubs, college clubs or groups ) you are told to meet certain requirements and you must agree no matter how crazy it is as far as you want to be a part of that club; maybe pay a certain fee, wear a certain colour of clothes on certain days, etc. But when it comes to Christianity people be like Noooooooooooo!!!!!! They want something different. They want to do whatever they want.
How can someone expect a Christian not do what Christians do. Christians give tithes it’s what we do, so they world should mind their own business.

9) Quiet Time

“Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.” He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from him”

Mark 14: 34 - 35

As Gamers there is one thing we always do, and that thing is “ playing video games”. That’s cool and all but it’s important that we take out some time to get away from video games, people and various distractions.
A time to do some soul searching. A time to be a lone and enjoy the serenity of the moment. A time to think about our lives how far we’ve come and how far we intend to go. A time to be with no one else but God and hear him talk to us to give us the comfort, encouragement and direction we need.
In the above scripture, Jesus left his disciples and went to a place where he could be alone. Where he would have his quiet time with his father when he was going thru the worst moment of his life. If Jesus needed to be alone at such a time, how about you.
It’s important that we go somewhere were we are alone sometimes in life. So we could reflex, relax, think, meditate or talk to God.

10) the Cheese and the Dream

Everybody has different reasons for doing different things. Different motivations behind each task. They could be motivated by Fame, Love, Personal Ambitions, Money or something else.
The question is; “What motivates you to make video games?” Most people got into the industry for the love of the trade. The love of games. The thrill of making games. Along the line the shackles of reality may blur their vision and the circumstances of life may turn their focus to one thing – Money.
By that I mean, you may have entered into gaming to make family friendly games or Christian games but it may not be enough to feed your family and you know that making x – rated games would; and since you have things to be done like sending your children to the best schools and putting food on the table, you might decide to compromise to meet pressing needs.
The bible says, ”If you faint in the day of adversity your strength is small”. That means if you give in when the going gets tough you are a weakling. Don’t be a weakling, be strong.
I know sometimes making a commitment to making only Christian games would let us see opportunities pass you by because you won’t compromise. It’s at times like that you need to stay strong and let your motivation be “the Great Commission” ( Mark 16:15 ) which could be rightfully summarized into winning and building souls for the Master; Jesus.

11) You are a Christian

There are times doing the right thing seems so not cool. As a matter of fact in today’s world, it’s not cool to do what’s right. It may be a sad reality and a evident truth of the deterioration of the society.
That is obviously a problem in terms of Christianity because Christianity always wants you to do what’s right even when everybody else thinks is wrong.
To be “COOL” in the sight of the world you have to; call all women the “B” word, beat up any one that insults you, have sex with as many people as possible, get high and stay there all day, etc. Christianity demands that we shouldn’t do that and for good reasons too.

12) Watch Ur Mouth

“In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride, But the lips of the wise will preserve them.”

Proverbs 14: 3

There are a lot of people I this world who would have had happier,
prosperous and more peaceful lives if only they could have shut up at the
right time.
It’s good to talk ( although not too much ) but we must know what to say
when we say what we say. There are times we find ourselves struggling to
keep a conversation going. The best thing to do at such moments is to
shut up.
Also when you are angry with somebody and the person is in front of you;
shut up ( don’t say what you are planning to say ) go some where and cool
off b/4 thinking of what to do. Remember decisions made in angry are
decisions made with 0% reason and 100% emotion.
If a girl starts flirting with you; shut up and move away from that girl, go
to any other place she is absent.
There are other situations in life where it’s best 4 U to shut up. Shutting up
has made me stress free and most of my peers who didn’t shut up when
they should are dead, about to be dead, or have a collection of scars to
remind them of the importance of shutting up.

13) More than Just the letters

I’ve noticed that most people read the bible like it’s just a story book. It like they view it as a way to get entertained. They may have it in mind that the book they are written is a special book to the Christians and indeed contains words concerning the truth about God but it stops there.
They don’t see it as a book containing the words they should live by not just reading about how others lived. A book that contains words that determine how they live their lives not a book of rules and instructions. A book that contains a fresh word from God each time you look at any page not a book that contains the same old same that nothing new can be found in it. A book that is a personal love letter from God to them not just a book that everyone has a copy and is written to everybody so it can’t be taken personally. A book that contains the only truth ever told, a book that everything that contradicts it is a lie.

14) PR 4 REaL

One of the most important things that everyone in the Entertainment
industry needs is great Public Relations ( PR ) skills.
Lets face it great PR skills will get you a raise. That’s of cause after it
gets you in the good book of your Boss and co - workers.
Instead of faking being nice to everybody how about actually caring about
everybody. Truly care about your boss, care about your team mates ( co -
workers ).
That way you could be putting a smile on the face of a fellow who might
have not had a reason to smile before they met you.
Besides the less problems the folks on the team have, the more effevtive
they would be.
So, Care.

15) What is in your hand?

“So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod,”

Exodus 4:2

A few years ago; precisely in 2005. I attended a Christian Conference which lasted for about 5 days. On the fifth day a female Pastor from another ministry was given the opportunity to minister in songs. At some point she started singing in tongues and I couldn’t understand a word since I don’t have the gift of interpretation of songs. Her blonde hair flew back continuously because of the current of the evening wind. This female minister who came to visit the city of Lagos in Nigeria could easily be mistaken for an Angel. In the mist of the beauty of the moment, she repeated only one sentence in between her singing in tongues as though it was an interpretation and something God really wanted us to hear. She repeated the words, “What is in your hand”. Even though the sentence was never explained in the conference. As she spoke those words, the Spirit of God gave me the understanding to the meaning of the sentence; “What is in your hand”.
It was a word from God I needed at the time. It was God’s way of telling me the dreams that I have; the businesses I want to start, instead of waiting for the capital to start a Muti-national co-operation I should use the little I have ( in my hand ) and start from there till it grows into that Muti-national co-operation.
A quick example. I wanted to start my own printing company ( amongst other companies ) but I didn’t have the money at the time to buy a printing press and get workers. But I had an Internet connection and a Computer. With that ( which is in my hand ) I can make my own magazines in pdf or flash format and distribute them online, with the money I get I can use it to buy my own printing press.
When you think through the process you would see I didn’t need to get money from any where, I only used what I already had to fulfil a dream that looked to big to achieve.
I actually wrote this to all those who dream of starting their own video game company. Now, you should know what to do.

16) I know all about animation

Finishing College and getting a degree is such a wonderful thing. It’s almost like, “I’m true learning, I have done a great job, Now it’s time for me to stack away the books”. Funny enough that kind of attitude is the reason behind the poverty of most educated folks. These folks stopped learning, they believed they know it all. I remember a financial educator once said, “The day you stop learn is the day all the money you have would leave you and go to someone who continued to learn”.
Don’t ever tell yourself that you know too much about animation. Never do it. Even if everyone else says so, always know what they are saying is not the truth. There is still more to learn. Learning never stops.
The VG Industry is an Industry that improves every year. That is evident in the need of improved consoles coming out each year. These improved consoles are released with new features that only those who learnt more ( maybe new programming codes or a whole new language ) that year can utilize. That means that what you learnt in school last year is no longer relevant or important this year. So keep learning.

17) Any good dream can come true

“But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible,”

Mathew 19: 26

Dreams are wonderful. Everybody has one or two or even more. Some people dream of being a famous Basketball Star, Some an extremely rich shot – calling Business man, or something. Well, whatever the case may be some peoples dream remain dreams while some turn their dreams into reality. Some even believe that things are meant to be that way; they believe that not all dreams can come true. They believe that does whose dreams come true just got lucky.
See, there is not such thing as luck. You are either blessed or you are cursed. There is not provision for luck. The bible never talks about luck. People only use that word as an excuse for their inability to work successfully towards fulfilling their dream.
Remember the words of Jesus, it may be impossible with men but it is possible with God.
All you have to do now is to get God involved in your dream.

18) Fire in your bones

Have you ever seen a movie where the hero wants revenge so badly that he goes thru so much pain to get that one opportunity for revenge. Or you could think of Super Mario going thru all that trouble to save a Princess; I mean he could have gotten another Princess instead of risking his life to save a Princess.
Although Super Mario didn’t seem to have such passion in the game, you cannot do half of what he did without passion.
I’m talking about a passion that burns like fire in your bones, a passion that would make you do the craziest things, a passion that takes control of you ( like an alien adoption ), a passion that could drive you thru a brick wall ( of course breaking down the wall in the process ).
I hope you get the picture. Anyway my point is, Do U have that kind of passion to make or see more Christian Games ? .

19) Total Makeover

Have you ever felt like you are not the man you ought to be? Have you ever felt like you are a nobody? Have you ever felt like you’ve hit rock bottom? Have you ever felt like you are at the bottom of a pit and you can’t climb out?
Well if you still feel that way, the odds are you would always feel that way either periodically or permanently. Unless, you do something I’m about to tell you ( that’s if you understand it, which you should ).
You see what you need at that point is a total makeover. A makeover of your soul ( mind, emotions and stuff ) and Spirit ( which happens to be crushed at the moment ).
The tool that can successfully be used to give you that Total Makeover is the Bible ( as in the word of God ). Reading the word of God renews ( refreshes & improves ) your mind which would of course heal your emotions and set you up for a future where you would know how to avoid things that would hurt you emotionally. It would also give your spirit a boost ( like a jet - pack ) so you would have enough faith to stand up strong and go into the world and actually win.

20) Tight Spot

Every now and then we find ourselves in a tight spot. We may not like being in one but what we do at that point determines how pretty the outcome would be.
The best thing to do when you are in a tight spot and there is no way out is to first of all relax and stop struggling. Then close your eyes then begin to pray with faith in your heart. It’s normally best to pray in tongues because at such moments you may not know what to say or pray about due to the fact that being in a tight spot prevents you from thinking straight.

21) Stand & Fight

“And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,”

Romans 4: 19

I once watched the trailer of a video game where the main character said “He who fights and runs away lives to run away again”. The main character’s school of thought was obviously different from popular slogan he changed which says, “He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day”.
The problem that the main character in that video game saw with the slogan (“He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day”), was that it seems to promote the idea that running away from your problems is one way to prevent being killed by your problems. That is why the character updated the slogan to “He who fights and runs away lives to run away again”. Which promotes the idea that if you run away from your problems today, you would run away from your problems tomorrow therefore it’s best you stand and face your problems; stand and fight.
The bottom line is, you shouldn’t run away from your problems or battles or else you would spend the rest of your life running.

22) Dead Line

“So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
- Psalm 90: 12

Productivity is an important goal for anyone who is normal ( in a positive sense ). We all have goals to accomplish and sometimes we often see time quickly go by without us accomplishing those dreams. We may know we have everything it takes; the finances, the idea and so on that is needed but we still couldn’t pull it off.
I discovered from personal experience that the reason that I wasn’t able to achieve some personal goals is that I didn’t set a dead line for myself.
For instance if I want to make a flash game and I work on it for like 5 minutes and go about doing other things, the whole day may be gone and if I continue working on the game daily without a set goal of how much I want to accomplish in the game making process, I would wake up one morning to find out that days have turned into months and I still haven’t finished it.
But if I set a deal line for myself like I must finish the game exactly two weeks from when I started and I discipline myself, I would finish the game in time.
So U see dead lines are important. You don’t have to wait for your boss to set them for you. Set them yourself and watch all your goals and dreams within your reach get achieved.

23) Gain

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praise worthy – meditate on these things.”

Philippians 4: 8

It’s always good to spend your time doing profitable things. Even though it’s not financially profitable but it could be something that’s profitable to your character or intellectual level; example: reading good books.
Every responsible person spends most of their lives doing such things ( profitable things ) and the other times they are not they call it spare time. Sadly, playing video games is what people do in their spare time. The reason is because of the fact that most or 97% of all video games have no profitable message.
No one can learn more about the stock market, get good advise, or learn any new thing from majority of the video games out there.
So in the mind of many ( if not all ) video games are seen as just games.
That could change. You could make a profitable game. As a matter of fact when you make a game you should ask yourself, “What would people gain from this game?”
Start by making a list of what you want people to gain from the game then start the rest of your game design process from there. Besides it would get more responsible adults into gaming.

24) Like a Thirst Deer

“As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for you, O God,”

Psalm 42: 1

King David from the bible saw a lot of things in his day especially being on the death list of the wrong type of guy.
However, he is known as a guy whose heart is after God. That means he seeks to please God and also has a feeling of love for God in his heart.
David once said that his heart pants after God like a deer pants for water.
A deer is an animal that tastes really God and at that time Man and Beast ( Lions to be exact ) both shared the same opinion. So the life of a deer was always one where it had to be on the look out for human and animal predators since it was like a living breathing hamburger. It spent most of it day running and most of the night somewhere in between running and sleeping.
That means that it normally found itself with a dry throat that desperately need water.
King David is now saying that he wants a closer relationship with God with that same desperation the throat of a dehydrated deer cries out for water with.

Wouldn’t it be cool if U were that desperate for God and also to see more Christian Games in the world today.

25) Why is there evil in the world

“Then God said, “Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the castle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth,”

Genesis 1: 26

Ah Ha! the all so famous question, “If there is a God why is there evil in the world?” I would like to take out time to answer that question.
First of, it’s important you know that this is man’s world not God world. Yes God created the world but he gave Man dominion over the earth. That means he gave Man the legal right to rule the earth. Remember that God created the earth for Man not himself. God already has a place he is comfortable called “Heaven”. He didn’t create earth to be his second home, the earth is Mans home.
Also you should know that the evil things that are done in the world are not done by God. God has never come to earth to rob a bank. Evil things are done by evil people and people rule and own this planet. As to why God didn’t stop them from robbing a bank, you have to understand God has given every man free - will. If God takes it away from us then we would be like zombies that are controlled by God and of cause our love for him would be fake because when you force someone to love you, you wouldn’t feel loved inside and it’s the same way with God.
By the way would you rather by controlled like a zombie than have your own free – will ?.

“If there is a God why are some people so poor? “
They are poor because they didn’t do what those who are rich do. Do you know any poor person that knows what financial education means? Besides you can get any type of education you want for free on the internet, even if you don’t have the degree; you would have the knowledge that the degree is meant to authenticate. And that’s all you need to start your own business.
One thing about making money is that everybody has different paths but everybody has a pathway that is currently available to them but they may or may not see it.

Why did God let your parents die?
First of, human beings die. It’s the way it has always been since Adam ate the forbidden fruit. When a human being doesn’t die he/she is no longer human. The fellow is now an immortal. Your parents dying all part of the great circle of life. Humans die, unless you know something that others don’t know.
If your parents death or the death of your loved ones made your life miserable, blaming their death on God is misplaced blame. If you feel like blaming anybody, blame Adam who ate the forbidden fruit. Besides blaming Adam is really not necessary, I’m sure he’s in heaven now having a blast.

And by the way, if you have lost a loved one: MOVE ON !!! besides if they truly loved you. They would want you to do just that.

26) Don’t fight that which is Good

“Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”

Acts 9: 4

In today’s world there are a lot of arguments and controversy pertaining to issues like; abortion, gay – rights, too much violence in movies, sex in games, pornography, etc.
It looks like the world has a lot of issues everyone is extremely sensitive about.
I have found out that the reason some folks support certain views is because of their personal imperfections. For instance, someone may argue that it’s impossible for any human being to go a whole week without telling a lie. The only reason they believe it is because they can’t go a whole day without telling a lie so they have come to a conclusion that everybody else in the world is that way too.
In the same way some girls may support pre-marital sex just because they can’t seem to find the strength to keep their legs closed.
Someone may support abortions because they once committed an abortion.
People should realize that just because they were unable to do what is right shouldn’t give them the mandate to march to the senate to change what was right to what is wrong, thereby changing what is right to what is wrong.
Stick to what the bible says, have a real relationship with God and most importantly if you have a problem fix it don’t take your denial to another level and try to change established morals.

27) 4 the Nations

“Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people”

Proverbs 14 : 34

Today, nations are laying down principles and casting out morals from
constitutions. People are continually making efforts to do everything
but righteousness things. We don’t even value righteousness any more.
Being a virgin at 16 is no longer honourable. Not doing or selling drugs is
no longer honourable. Not beating up the guy who insults you in public is
no longer honourable.
Well, when a nation gets this way it means that sin is exalted because its
citizens uphold it. In case you didn’t notice, the scripture of the day lets
us know that, that kind of thing would help destroy a nation. So if the
country you are in is that way, it means the live of the people would get
darker and peace + happiness would become a distant memory.

28) A Word from God

There are times in life where all you need is direction. What is the next
move you would make, what step would you take to fulfill the dream in
front of you? . At such times brain-storming wouldn’t get you the answer
but there is someone who always has an answer; his name is Jesus.
All you need is a word from God. That kind of word is called “Rhema”.
It is a word form God for a particular person, for a particular purpose
and at a particular season.
Have you ever been in church and you feel like the preacher is talking only
to you. It is like if the preacher did some personal research on your life
and is now preaching a sermon with the solution to the problem you are
going thru. At that time what you are hearing is “Rhema”. Everybody else
may be listening to the same sermon, but what you are hearing is not
what they are hearing. What you are hearing is specifically for you. The
Spirit of God has given you the grace to understand and grab a hold of
what God is saying to you about your present situation.
All you have to do is be spiritually attentive to hear what God is saying to
you. It may be thru someone but it must always be in line with what the
bible says.

29) Your Atmosphere

Everybody has an atmosphere around them. I am talking about a more
precise and unique atmosphere not just a positive or negative atmosphere.
I remember back in the day when a friend can to my crip and met my brother
at the front door. My brother asked him, “You are a Rapper right?” And the
dude was like “Yea!”. Now, the dude didn’t even dress Hip Hop, but my
brother knew that I had a Hip Hop atmosphere around me. All my friends
were Hip Hop, my clothes were Hip Hop, my talk everything. I even remember
a time a Rapper was playing and was like men, my love 4 Hip Hop is so much
and that I taking it too far. He said every time I’m either with a Hip Hop CD in
my pocket or someone’s printed lyrics. And funny enough I dipped my hand
in my pocket to find out and I pulled out someone’s lyrics.
As a matter of fact back them if you didn’t like Hip Hop you shouldn’t norther
talking to me because I’m not interested in what you want to say. I
remember in high school when the teacher was teaching. I was busy writing
rhymes at the back of the class; he probably taught I was taking notes.
Away I’m saying all this to let you know the kind of atmosphere I used to
have. Won’t it be cool and profitable to you if you had a Christian atmosphere
around you; all your friends are Christian, all your movies are Christian,
all your CD’s are Christian, all your dresses are Christian ... Everything
about you is Christian. Oh! ... It would be the life.

Wow, this is filled with wisdom. May I encourage you to break this down into parts? I love to read, but not many have the time to read something so extensive in one sitting. Would also encourage you to capitalize references to God's name. Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Bible, His Word, etc. Points #6 and #12 really ministered to me personally. Thank you for the reminders.
