Another dreary day greets me as I awake,
It's been rainy forever, for heaven's sake,
I long for something new!
I used to have such gloomy days before,
somehow I knew there had to be more,
I longed to know what was true.
When Jesus came to answer my plea,
He showed me how wonderful things could be,
How I could be transformed anew!
Jesus answered a prayer only said in my heart,
that I could really have a brand new start,
He'd show me what to say and do.
I said yes to Him, my heart was set free,
and I knew I’d been given a brand new me,
a fresh wind in my life now blew!
I thought that it couldn't get better than this,
but Jesus wanted me to have total bliss,
and so He gave me to you!
Now I wake to new blessings each day,
and prayers of thanks are the first thing I say,
for every moment that I LOVE YOU!!!
Every day's an adventure shared with you,

and oh, how much I LOVE YOU!!!
