As we look into the wasteland for Salvation, we need only to look into our hearts for Peace. Adhering to the commandments of God provides a pathway to peace; Love your neighbor as yourself.
As Luke wrote in 19:9 salvation was demonstrated when Jesus encountered Zacchaeus at his home. The King spoke of salvation for a man who had it all. Zacchaeus had money, prestige, and support of the Romans. Funny thing, Zacchaeus people (the Jewish community) despised him, for he capture his wealth off the backs of the Jewish community. But, the community was puzzled when Jesus chose to spend time at Zacchaeus home. They said, “He has gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner, they grumbled.” So, Zacchaeus malfeasance was atoned by giving half of his wealth to the poor and appropriated four times the amount back to whom he over charged taxes on.
We the people of this generation are lost. Not all are, but most are. We the people who misrepresent government or corporation interests have placed the people in direr straights. Therefore, standing at the door of the wasteland, we only have salvation as the pathway for Peace. Money, neither Country nor Style can bring it only repentance to God our Father and Jesus Christ can lead us to salvation. Zacchaeus repented and Jesus saved him.
Where are the Zacchaeus of our day? Could one of the oil executive or profiteer from war decide as Zacchaeus, to share the wealth on the poorest of people? The time is now and the vision is clear. Come home to the Lord so He can fill the light of righteous and truthfulness in your harden heart of arrogance.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
