Jesus has not left us for even a second. He dwells within us in the person of the Holy Spirit. John 16:7,16. This enables us to have a relationship with Him which is far superior to all other relationships. Our loving Jesus and remaining in His peace and enjoying the manifestation of the Spirit's presence is expressed in our obedience to His commandments. Which are also the Father's commandments. A Christianity satisfied with less may be very pleasing to the fallen nature of man, but God does not endorse it. This is not the covenant that Jesus signed with His blood. This easy believism is much too cheap to be biblical. Being a follower of Jesus will cost you everything. It is only when you have given Him all of you that He can give you all of Him.
When this is the state of our relationship with Him even in the midst of persecution we live in joyful peace because we are completely sure of our victory in Him.

May the comfort of His embrace be a living reality in your life always.
Loving Him, loving you!
