I am standing here, Lord.
The road in front of me
is a New Road.
I have not walked
This Way before.
Yet, I am standing here –
a tiny soul
among the souls of men,
daring to put
the burden of all things in Your Hands . . .
accepting the challenge
of a life controlled by Your Spirit . . .
aspiring to walk in the metamorphosis
of a life transformed
by Your Love and Your Grace . . .
I am standing here, Lord,
knowing not what use You see in me,
but ready to be used . . .
yielded to whatever ministry
You have chosen . . .
available to serve –
to follow where You Lead . . .
knowing not what the future holds
down this New Road,
but believing that You Know
and that, as You Lead,
You will make use of me . . .
As we walk this New Road together, Lord,
Use me . . .
Touch other lives through me . . .
Let me be an instrument
of Your Love and Goodness
that other lives may find You to be
“The Answer to Everything!
And whatever the glory, whatever the praise,
Let it be Yours alone, Lord.
It is enough to know
That I have been used by You.
As I walk The Way with You, Lord,
take my feet and let them step
quietly in step with You
that whatever footprints I leave behind
may be filled with You . . .
for I may never pass The Way again . . .
