The weather, it has warmed up some,
but it still looks like rain,
but I am snug inside my house,
thinking of you again
I think of you all the time,
in all the 'busy' stuff I do,
and everything is made so special
because I'm doing it for you!
It's not that I feel I have to,
or that things just 'must be done';
I do it all to show my love,
to show the joy of us two being one!
I wake each day to a new adventure,
where will this day's path go?
Wherever it leads, my joys complete,
for it will be lit with love's sweet glow.
If we go nowhere, and just stay home,
I'll love to do that too,
for I'm wrapped up in happiness all the time,
because of how much I LOVE YOU!!
These silly poems I write each day,
don't begin to say what's in my heart,
but to begin saying 'I LOVE YOU',
gives me joy from the very start!
Every day my heart fills up
with more love and tender care anew,
and I must wrap it all and give it away,
my gift of love to you!
Tuck these words deep in your heart,
and know that they are true,
no matter the turmoil outside our gates,
always know how much I LOVE YOU!!!
