Marco and Simon were in a market square in a bustling caravan city. They were taking a break from their bargaining.
A guard walked passed arogantly. The two of them jump back Marco clenching his fists until they were white.
Simon asked Marco, "What's the matter?"
Marco said, "I have had it with these Saracens! They treat Christians like dirt, they teach their children to bully Christians. They..."
Simon responded, "They what? They treat Christians the way Christians in Venice treat Jews?"
Marco gave a shamed look,"Point taken. Good sir allow me to ask forgiveness..."
Simon told him,"For what-for what your uncle's second cousin did to my uncle's second cousin? I know nothing against you and do not wish to. Just remember when you return. And now back to business."
Marco said, "May I see that role of red-dyed silk again?"
