If I were able to, I would bring peace to the world;
But I cannot.
If I were able to, I would cure the terminal;
But I cannot.
If I were able to, I would house all the homeless;
But I cannot.
If I were able to, I would give money to all the poor;
But I cannot.
If I were able to, I would give love to all the loveless;
But I cannot.
If I were able to, I would be a friend to all the friendless;
But I cannot.
If I were able to, I would mother all the orphans;
But I cannot.
If I were able to, I would feed all the hungry;
But I cannot.
If I were able to, I would give water to all the thirsty;
But I cannot.
No one can do these things by themselves.
We may want to, but we are just not able to.
Only God allows us to accomplish anything.
If we are to change the world we must listen to
Him who made us.
