Here we are,
Half way round the world
To a place
So different
We are lost
In wonderment-
Our senses are twirling
Seeking to find direction
In this vast plane
Of seemingly endless expanse-
The surprise of things never seen
This sudden awakening to nature
Life in awesome diversity
Creation beaming with unlimited variety-
The surging never ending energy
Drumming endless variations of consistent rhythms
Till our drunken senses succumb
Drowning in things so old and so renewing
We slip under, to awaken to renewal-
Undrape me from the clinging hindrance,
Strip me of all reservations
Unloosen the binding ties of depersonalization
Free me from the burden of the free world
Loosen me from myself, the civilized me-
Break the bands of time
Let loose a moment of infinity
Outside time-
I have arrived
To express myself
The true me
Bursting forth
In one maddening rush
Of realization
To this ancient spread
Of freedom
Here my soul bubbles
Rolling along with the windswept terrain
A gush of life in an aridity of excesses
I have arrived-
