We all forget the tides of yesterday.
The red dust of each morning’s sunrise, the golden blanket of leaves each beautiful autumn, the silver rain and colorful mornings of each spring all lay forgotten in time.
If only life were that simple, to forget what has been done, to forget each word that was spoken in anger, to just forget the pain.
If I could sit on the edge of a cliff and just forget.
The ocean to my right and cliffs to my left and the sound of breaking waves below me.
Gorgeous colors playing in front of me, as the sun slowly sets over clear blue water and dark stormy cliffs.
The crimson sun turning to violet as darkness sets in and the sky fills with bright stars and a full moon that will light even the darkest night.
How simple life would be if we could sit on the edge of a cliff and everything disappears.
How simple life would be if we could trust we will never fall.
How simple life would be if we could simply forget.

Oh, yes! How I long for
the innocent days....of
not having such bitter sweet memories. I think, though,
over time our mind 'numbs'
itself. And, perhaps, God
is merciful, and pours some
of His balm over it all.
God Blss.
