The Son shines
upon my
gentle heart
His radiance
transcends
time and space
Content in
the light
that warms
my spirit
pumping goodness,
graciousness
and peace
through my
hardening veins
They flow
smoothly
miraculously renewed
Stepping into
the moment
Setting aside
the stress and peril
that this world offers
in ample portions
I am washed clean
in Your sacrificial blood
I am made new
every morning
to face the day
