It's nice as I feel God's presence in my life,
there's a stillness and peace without fright.
His massive arms encircle my heart and soul,
letting me know His Holy Spirit is alive and bold.
Sometimes I grow forgetful and neglect to give Him praise,
I walk around tolerating the devil's dance to my amaze.
Moments when the devil attacks my soul and mind,
He tries to draw me into his arms..."a real deceiving swine."
I need to converse with God in my daily life,
it'll end confusions and times of strife's.
My walk with Him is the greatest gift I know,
I'm proud and it gives my face a special glow.
He comes in times of darkness...throughout the night,
releases stress and problems I have in my life.
I never have to fear what I convey to Him,
He'll never repeat it...He'll keep it tucked within.
He'll listen no matter what the problem may be,
answering the complexity in a promise I'll see.
Never hesitate to call upon Him,
He's there as our Savior and our friend.
When you're alone and no one else cares,
He'll be there to pay attention and to share.
He'll never allow us to walk our paths alone,
His light will guide us to His Heavenly Home.
