Whatever
Megan stared at the stain, Horrified.
“So, you’re the stain?”
The slithery shaped shadow hissed.
“My name’s, Horrified.”
The teen never liked basements, but she was on a mission.
“That’s cool, or, not. But, I’m looking for my Angel.”
“You’re not…afraid?”
“No, I’m Megan. Afraid lives outside at night. Now, my Angel’s gonna have babies.”
“That’s weird.”
“My Angel is a cat.”
“Oh, your cat, she’s in the garage.”
“Thank you, Stain.”
“It’s Horrified.”
“Whatever.”

Wrong Question
Megan looked at the stain, horrified.
The man had been dead for hours. Megan found his body in a dumpster. His blood was dried and brown when she began praying. Now, his t-shirt was soaked in bright red flowing blood.
She saw a golden chain-and-cross on his chest move. It thumped once, then twice. Soon, the man’s eyes opened; he spoke.
“You an angel?”
“Nope, garbage collector.” Megan smiled.
“Is that in Heaven or Hell?”
Megan closed the dumpster lid.
