Today a large part of Christianity is ruled
By democracy and not by the Holy Spirit
As a result men desire pleasure
Rather than the treasure of the Kingdom which will
Demand sacrifice and self control because we are dealing with a Government
Many have made the Gospel: prosperity, healing, tongues etc
But that was never the Gospel; the Cross was an avenue to the Kingdom
The Cross had to first happen and then we could Cross over and receive
The Authority of the Kingdom (King) to influence our territory
The Israelites had to Cross over; we also have to Cross over
Regretfully, Christianity has become a man-centred, man-oriented gospel created by man for man; Jesus never preached on healing, prosperity, success,
Or any of the other things that centre on man and his wellbeing
Jesus preached about the Kingdom, the King, and the King's purpose
He would die for His Father’s plan and He discovered that it was worth it
Jesus demonstrated healing and prosperity
As an expression of the will and purpose of God
When Jesus needed money to pay His taxes,
He understood that He had dominion over the Earth,
So He sent His disciple to get the money from a fish's mouth
When we prosper we can fund His Kingdom but men are selfish
And when we are healed we can comfort somebody else…
