You certainly have the knack for the Micro Stories. This one would have be very difficult to write for a regular entry and keep it under 750 words. You took less than 25 words and let our imaginations supply the details for an entire book.
This is a great example of a Micro Story.
How true! Compassion of Christ flows through the saints... I like the part, "dwindled off" -- because that does happen. It's like my wife recently said of my mother-in-law (her mom!) -- I can go stay and help her for a week, and then come home -- but she lives with it every day. "It" is cancer...
