If the devil were a "king" the analogy would work well. As it is, it presupposes an equality between rival kings, with an equal number of opponents who are equal to one another in ability, territory and power submissively serving each king respectively. I "get the point" but, most readers will continue, perhaps to continue to live believing Satan to be more powerful than he truly is. Just a thought, and a critique.
